Description

Abernathy peak is a high point on Abernathy Ridge standing at 8,321 feet, just tall enough to make it on the Washington Bulger List (98/100). SummitPost  describes the peak as "alpine and eroded...However, what it lacks in technical terrain, it makes up for in solitude, height, and views."

Description

Chikamin Peak is the first Cascade mountain north of Mount Rainier to reach over 7000 feet in elevation, and an excellent destination for a day trip. This route follows the Pacific Crest Trail (PCT) north from Snoqualmie Pass, requires a short scramble up the south side of Chikamin Peak, and then reconnects back to the PCT via Chikamin and Glacier lakes. The same route was also previously described by Climber Kyle.
