Le "Sentier Batier" est un chemin extrêmement connu en Bourgogne (France). Il est aussi magnifique que difficile.
Le parcours a été créé en 1955 par Félix Batier, président du Club Alpin Français (CAF) de la région.
A l'origine, son objectif était de préparer aux mieux les sportifs face aux difficiles chemins et escalades des Alpes.
Le tracé relie Dijon et Nuits-Saint Georges, à travers le relief portant le nom de "La Montagne".
Il traverses 16 Combes, c'est à dire des compressions géologiques très raides et techniques.

Mackinaw City - Petoskey. Starting with a foot in Lake Huron by the Mackinac Bridge, and finishing at the Top of Michigan Trail Center in Petoskey (Packy Offield Trail Center.) Follow the North Country Trail, mostly single track through Northern Michigan and gorgeous! Or the reverse.

From Lowest To Highest (FLTH, Germany Edition) connects the two aforementioned topographical features to one another via a nearly 1000KM long route. This route begins somewhere 70KM north of Hamburg, in the middle of nowhere at a flat, unassuming, fenced off patch of land marked as "Lowpoint of Germany". Don't expect anything but starting line thrills here, because the flatness itself is as uninspiring as it is obvious.
