THE JOHN RAY WALK
The Mols Bjerge trail connects one of Denmark's few National Parks. The route starts in the parking lot at Kalø Slotsruin and ends at the bus station in the beautiful coastal town of Ebeltoft. The route runs through some of Denmark's most iconic ice age landscapes, and on most days you can enjoy many spectacular views over the bay area. The route runs through several types of forest, open areas and agricultural land. The surface is primarily gravel road and single tracks, but also a bit of asphalt.
One of the links in a prehistoric route often called the Greater Ridgeway, from The Wash to the South Devon Coast, this route basically extends the Ridgeway National Trail to the south-west. Passed on the way, through Wiltshire, are the stone circles at Avebury, the Vale of Pewsey, the northern edge of Salisbury Plain, the Wylye Valley and Win Green Hill. In Dorset Cranbourne Chase, Cerne Abbas with the 180ft high Cerne Giant and Pilsden Pen are visited before a short route through Devon leads to the finish in Dorset.
The Victoria line is a London Underground line that runs between Brixton in south London and Walthamstow Central in the north-east, via the West End. It is coloured light blue on the Tube map and is one of the only two lines on the network to run completely underground, the other being the Waterloo & City line.
