Description

The route runs along the entire Berlin Ringbahn track, and gives a better overview of the city and it's diverse neighborhoods than the Berlin marathon could ever hope for. You can also claim to have bagged an Ultra as the route is mildly longer than your usual run-of-the-mill marathon. You can complete the course clock-wise or counter-clockwise. Either way, starting and end-point remain the same, as we're dealing with a circular route.

Description

The route to Santiago de Compostela via the north side along the coast for 844 km. People walk this route as pelgrims to pray and find spiritual enlightenment but more recently runners found their way on this path. While regarded by many as “not the true way” of travelling to the holy church, it is considered by many runners as the way of finding actual enlightenment by testing the body as extreme exhaustion and fatigue play a major role.
