Description

Fårö is a small island just north of Gotland.

The island is known for its beaches and "rauks" along the coastline.

Main goal with the route is to run around the whole island of Fårö.

For the most part you will be able to have the coastline on your right (or left side depending on the direction you start in). Some areas along the coast are private property and there you need to diverge from the path.

Description

The Monon Trail is a trail covering the same route of the old Monon Railroad tracks, which connected Indianapolis to Chicago.  The expansion, to this point in time, of the Monon Trail has taken it from close to the heart of Indianapolis all the way to the rural town of Sheridan.  It passes by the Indiana State Fairgrounds, through Broad Ripple (a bustling urban neighborhood), and through Carmel and Westfield, two prominent cities just north of Indianapolis.  This is arguably the most prominent paved trail in Indiana.

Description

The Long Trail Side-to-Side Challenge involves completing all 88 side trails of the Long Trail system. The official trail list is maintained by the Green Mountain Club: https://www.greenmountainclub.org/the-long-trail/side-to-side/. Finishing all of the trails in one go is an interesting logistical challenge that provides a unique cross-section of the mountains of Vermont.
