Description

The Standing Stone Trail follows scenic ridgelines in Huntingdon, Mifflin and Fulton counties. It is a very scenic yet very technical terrain and is absolutely beautiful at all times of the year.

Alta-Brighton Loop (UT)

Description

The Alta-Brighton Loop is takes one through some of the most picturesque and beautiful parts of the Little Cottonwood Canyon and Big Cottonwood Canyon. Starting and finishing at Alta’s Albion Base parking lot, the trail goes up and over Twin Lakes Pass, around Twin Lakes Reservoir, through Brighton Resort, and weaves amongst Lakes Mary, Martha, and Catherine. The route then climbs over Catherine Pass and plunges back down through Alta Ski Area, all the way back to the start.

Description

Au départ du Bourg d’Oisans, le Tour de l'Oisans et des Ecrins entame son grand tour par des mains courantes pour atteindre ses petits hameaux accrochés à flanc de montagne. Il redescend sur le torrent de Sarenne pour remonter jusqu’au col, point de vue sur les Monts de Lans. Vient alors une descente sur Clavans et la vallée du Ferrand suivie d'une belle montée jusqu’à Besse-en-Oisans à la frontière du vaste plateau d’Emparis. Au-dessus, le col de Souchet offre une vue cinq étoiles sur la Meije. Près de 1000 mètres de dénivelé négatif permettent de rejoindre La Grave .
