This route named Altavia 8, which goes from Feltre to Bassano del Grappa, is also known as "Alpine Path of the Heroes". It starts from the Piave Valley, in the vicinity of Feltre, and ends in the Brenta Valley: two big rivers that remind us of heroic achievements and mark the boundaries of this pre-alpine route.

The peculiar configuration of the mountain enables hikers to avoid hard ascents and descents, except for the first part (Feltre - Mt Tomatico) and the last (Cima Grappa - Bassano).

Heart mountain loop from car park (Heart Creek TH).  The route is a scramble and should only be attempted by experienced hikers/runners.  Follow the blue diamond placards on the rocks to stay on the route.  CCW direction is recommended.

Lake Winnebago is located in eastern Wisconsin and is the 28th largest lake in the United States. With an area of 137,700 acres (557 square kilometers) it is the largest lake entirely within the state of Wisconsin. Lake Winnebago has 88 miles of shoreline blanketed with beautiful foliage and diverse wildlife, as well as many beautiful beaches. The route encircling the lake is up to you.

The trail starts near Cromford railway station and climbs through the stunning High Peak area of Derbyshire giving fabulous views of the area and progresses through the Peak District to Hurdlow near Buxton.

Highlights on the route include the historic Middleton Top Engine House, built in 1829 and fabulous views down to the nearby Carsington Water. Along the way there is the interesting Harborough Rocks, the Neolithic chambered tomb and two Bronze Age bowl barrows at Minninglow Hill and the fascinating Neolithic henge monument of Arbor Low. 

The Trail D'Arta begins in the parking area of RN4 and descends into the dry riverbeds of the mountainous Arta region. The trail passes towering cliffs of columnar bassalt before climbing back out along the ridgeline trail.

The route passes through the most beautiful places of the Altai Mountains. The famous Chuisky tract passes nearby. Finish in the village of Tungur, not far from the highest mountain in Siberia - Belukha.
