Grand Isle Loop (VT)

Grand Isle, also known as South Hero Island (or "Apple Island" due to an abundance of orchards), is the largest island in Lake Champlain (VT/NY) with a total area of 31 square miles. The very popular Green Mountain Marathon takes place along the western shore of the island, using a C-shaped out-and-back route. 

Mt Tantalus Traverse (BC, Canada)

Mt Tantalus (8556') is a peak in the Tantalus Range, north of Squamish, BC.

Nick Elson describes the route:

Tantalus is a rugged, glaciated peak clearly visible from the highway between Squamish and Whistler. Approaching on foot means starting essentially at sea-level and so many ascents begin with the assistance of a helicopter.

Garibaldi Lake Circumnavigation (BC, Canada)

Description

Garibaldi is a large alpine lake NNE of Squamish, BC.  This "High Route" circumnavigation of the lake starts and finishes at the Rubble Creek trailhead and includes the summits of Castle Towers, Mt. Carr, The Sphinx and Mt. Price. The route is approximately 54 km with 4,000 metres of elevation gain. Difficulty never exceeding 4th class with substantial glacier travel.
