Start/Finish: Château Tongariro, Whakapapa

Route from Govenor's Chair lookout to the Teviot Falls lookout running north to south along the scenic rim trail.  Trail is difficult to follow, navigation skills required.  Rock scrambling required to follow the trail.  No water or shelter available along the route.  Remote area that will require planning.

This is a fantastic adventure in a part of the Sierras that is less popular for FKTs despite being a stone's throw from Yosemite. This route is included in the Sierra Club SPS peaks list and so does see a lot of ascents, however does not appear to have been previously a focus for in a day and speed attempts.
