It is a marked walking trail around the edges of greater Brussels, taking advantage of the green patches, parks, canals and gardens. The route it approximately 60 km depending exact paths at a few places.  It is a really great way to see so much of diverse Brussels. Very different neighborhoods, woods, parks and countryside as well.  Note that there are some alternate routes possible in a few places - for purposes of the FKT take the quickest way while staying on the official path.

Start at the parking lot at Weißensee near Füssen. First along the lake to the junction on the Magnussteig. Up to the Alatsee. Up to the Saloberalm. From there to the 4-lake view. Continue to Falkenstein Castle. Via Schlossanger down to Pfronten (Steinach). Over the path to the Hochalpbahn summit station. Continue over the Aggenstein summit to the Bad Kissinger hut. Continue to the Füssener Jöchle. Via the Otto Mayr hut to the Musauer Alm. From there to the Costaries chapel and on to the Frauensee. The next stops are Oberletzen and Pflach. Continue to Alpsee.
