Description

Mount Vaux is a striking icy clad unknown giant in Yoho National Park, British Columbia. Mount Vaux reigns over the impressive Hanbury Glacier and the northern end of the Ottertail Range. The summit reaches a notable 3319m (10,889 ft.)

Emerald Lake Triangle & Wapta Mtn (BC, Canada)

Description

The Emerald Lake Triangle is a 20km route around Emerald Lake in Yoho National Park. Jamie Junker & Ruchel Stevens added spice by including the summit of Wapta Mtn, as follows:

"On July 27, 2017 Ruchel Stevens and I started running at the Emerald Lake Lodge parking lot, completed the first half of the Emerald Lake Triangle clockwise to the base of Wapta Mountain. We made the ascent/descent of Wapta Mountain via the Kane scrambling route and then finished off the Emerald Lake Triangle."

summitpost.org has information on the Lougheed Traverse.  Jamie Junker notes: "There are a few routes one can take to complete the Lougheed Traverse, but to do it by 'fair means' most will have to follow the scrambling route detailed by Andrew Nugara in his book 'More Scrambles In The Canadian Rockies' as we did. "

Ha Ling Peak to Mt Lawrence Grassi (AB, Canada)

These are 2 summits near Canmore, AB. Many route possibilities exist between Ha Ling Peak and Mount Lawrence Grassi but all require high-consequence scrambling.
