Oak Creek Trail (NE)

Description

Oak Creek Trail is a former Union Pacific Railroad corridor in the eastern part of the state. The trail is only about an hour from both Omaha and Lincoln.

The rural environment of the Oak Creek Trail makes for beautiful scenery. Begin your journey at the trail's northern endpoint in Brainard. Outside of the town, the trail follows the top of a picturesque ridge. For the next several miles, natural prairie stretches as far as the eye can see.

Long Cane Horse Trail (SC)

Description

The Long Cane Horse Trail is located in the northern part of the Long Cane Ranger District. This 26.7-mile loop trail winds through the pines and hardwoods of the Long Cane Scenic Area and passes the largest shagbark hickory tree in the United States. A historic cemetery and the original “Charleston Road” enhance the visitor experience. Numerous access points and a convenient cut-through enables riders to adjust the length and duration of their ride.

Corby Round (United Kingdom)

Description

This is the around Corby route as found on the LDWA website. It starts and finishes at East Carlton country park and circumnavigate Corby in a clockwise direction. It uses bridleways and footpaths where possible with some short road sections through villages.
