Mt Temple (AB, Canada)

Description

Mt Temple (11,627') is located in Banff National Park, Alberta, Canada.  The "normal" route is the SW Ridge, which is "a moderate scramble for experienced parties", with an ice ax recommended.  The route ascents about 1700m in about 9km.  The duathlon from Banff adds about 75km of cycling each way.  The East Ridge route is YDS 5.7 (technical rock climbing).  The track on our map below shows both the SW and E Ridge routes.

Guadalupe Peak (TX)

Description

Guadalupe Peak (8751') is the highpoint of Texas.  It is located in Guadalupe Mountains National Park.  The route starts near the Pine Springs Campground and ascends a maintained trail for about 4 miles and 3000 vertical feet.

Guadalupe Peak has a Strava segment.  Note that Strava times can be off by quite a bit, so it's best to post your actual time (and name!) here.

European Alps 82 4000ers

Description

World-renowned Swiss alpinist Ueli Steck climbed all 82 peaks over 4000m in the European Alps over 62 days in the summer of 2015. The project was entirely self-powered, using a bicycle to travel between the peaks and sometimes paragliding off the summits. Epic TV made a series of 4 beautiful videos documenting the project.
