Their are numerous spur paths along the way, but this seems to be get the most traffic. The area is home to a herd of 80-100 bison and as the name implies is dominated by sand and sage.
Fryman Canyon Loop (CA)
Studio City (Los Angeles). The 2.6 mile trail starts at the Betty B Dearing Mountain Trail sign and continues in a counterclockwise loop. It’s a paved road for the first 0.4 miles, then switches to compressed dirt road for most of the hike. The final mile is on neighborhood streets, and is considered part of the route to complete the loop back to the starting point. There is some shade along the trail.

Mt Albert Edward (BC, Canada)
Mount Edward Albert is found in the eastern sector of Strathcona Provincial Park, Vancouver Island, British Columbia and at 2,093m ranks sixth in the altitude stakes on the Island. Unlike many peaks on the Island, the passage of the glaciers left at least the summit and northeast ridges of the mountain unscarred. The result is a relative rarity in Strathcona, an easy hiking peak.
