ROUTE REMOVED DUE TO PRIVATE LAND

It came to our attention that this route crossed private land at the Sundance Ski Resort.  We have therefore removed the route & will not record FKTs unless someone comes up with a version of the route that does not cross private land.

The area called 'Steinernes Meer', in the Berchtesgaden Alps, is a very remote and technical mountain plateau. Crossing it is a interesting challenge that many people have done on different routes. That route via the Hochkönig Summit along the ridgeline and finally down to the famous Königsee is one of the longest and most remote options. There are only two options to choose really on the crossing and this one is the more logical because it follows the (distinct) ridgeline.
