This route traces from the upper parking lot at Guanella Pass outside Georgetown, Co summits 6 peaks and ends at the 11'990' parking lot at Loveland Pass. It includes the classic Front Range 14'er Peaks Grays and Torreys as well as 13'ers Grizzly Peak, Argentine Peak, Mt. Edwards and Square Top. Although non technical from the alpinists standpoint, it has some limited exposure and route finding.
The Elden Lookout Trail ascends to the top of Mt Elden (9262') in Flagstaff, AZ. The route is around 2.5 miles with 2400 feet of elevation gain and an average grade of 17.1%. In 2012 the Flagstaff Ultra-running Club put on a free race event on the route. Eric Bohn won that race with a time of 36m56s. The women's winner was Missy Verhaeghe, 54m56s. The Wilson Massif, which might also be known as the San Miguel Range, is a compact subrange of the San Juan Mountains of southwestern Colorado. The range is remote and steep and one of the most southerly and westerly ranges containing peaks over 14,000 feet in the state.
