Crossing Topanga State Park between Temescal Canyon Trailhead in Pacific Palisades and the Cabellero Canyon Trailhead in Tarzana, about 14 miles.  Runners may take any route between these points.  One option is (S to N):  Temescal Canyon Trail -> Temescal RidgeTrail -> Backbone Trail -> Temescal Fire Road -> Mulholland Drive -> Caballero Canyon Trail

The route begins at La Parva Bike Park and from then you heard towards El Plomo Base Camp (Federación), by the route of Cancha de Carreras. From Federación, the route is completely visible to the summit (5424m).  About 16km with 2400m elevation gain.
 

Lone Peak is 11,253' in the Wasatch Mtns, just outside of Salt Lake City.  This peak can be accessed by several different routes, but Jacob's is steep and direct with a class 4 scramble to the top.  The ascent and round trip via Jacob's Ladder Trail have Strava segments.
