Description

The iconic run from Harts to Rainy pass takes you through the North Cascades, west of Mazama, in an area known as the "American Alps." It is a 32ish-mile stretch, (50k) of the Pacific Crest Trail (PCT), and follows a ridge that crests dry valleys of larch and pine to the east, and wet mossy forests to the west.

Description

57km, average elevation 4000m with a high point of 4900m, this is one of China's most popular multi-day hiking routes and usually takes hikers 5 days. The route starts from Lao Yulin Dam, goes to Gonga Monastery, and finishes at Zimei village. The mountain can be either called Gongga or Minya Konka. It’s a one way route that circles around half of the mountain (the west side) ("kora" is a Tibetan circumnavigation around an entire holy peak).
