Torch Lake is a beautiful lake near Traverse City, MI.  Running its circumference involves about 42 miles of mostly flat roads.

This is a challenging, steep, and exciting route that goes to the summit of the Volcán de Agua. The route begins and ends in the town of San Juan del Obisbo, about 5 km from the center of Antigua. The route follows dirt road and well used foot trails for a 17 mile round trip with 7,678 ft of elevation gain (27 km/ 2340 m gain).
