Gästriketriangeln consists of 2 older trails and 1 new one that together create a triangle. The hiking trails go from Rönnåsen up to Åmot, then down to Jädraås and back to Rönnåsen.

This route connects the mountain chain from the ocean of Morocco directly to the highest point of north Africa. The route is a mixture of road and trail in a formidable landscape. Main challenges are extreme heat, elevation, crew car logistics and water/salt intake.
