Description

The Bukit Panjang LRT (BPLRT) is an 8km (5mi) automated guideway transit line in Bukit Panjang, Singapore. Opened on 6 November 1999, BPLRT is the first Light Rail Transit (LRT) line constructed in Singapore, and the first driverless inter-town train feeder service. Today, it serves over 64,000 riders daily. This line also features the first and only train station (Ten Mile Junction LRT) in Singapore's history to be permanently closed and removed from operations (due to low ridership).
