Route begins at the San Pasqual Valley Staging area, 50 kilometers inland from the coast, and tracks west to the Pacific Ocean at Seagrove Park in Del Mar. Trail covers approximately 50% of the entire Coast to Crest Trail located in San Diego County, CA, which follows the San Dieguito River watershed and meanders 32 miles through oak woodlands, grasslands, and chaparral to the San Dieguito Lagoon where it flows into the Pacific. It is the most intact watershed remaining in San Diego County and contains a variety of diverse ecosystems, plants, and wildlife. The trail consists of a blend of single track, foot paths, graded service road, and a few short segments of rural, two-lane paved road.

Max and I are planning to do this route 9/5/2020. We will be running unsupported for our respective genders. We will do a 20 minute stagger start to stay separated. Plan is to start ~6 a.m. @maxFlyder
Planning to run this route unsupported on the morning of 10/17. Hoping for a 6am start time. Still trying to decide if I will run the official route on the road the first mile or stay on the trail as the coast to crest trail actually goes.
If I start in Del Mar and run to San Pasqual Valley does it still count? Planning on running this on Sunday 12/6
I plan to run this route on Wednesday, December 21, 2021.
