Description

This is the standard route for hiking up White Mountain Peak, which begins at the locked Barcroft Gate and ends at the summit of White Mountain Peak. At 14,246', White Mountain Peak is California's 3rd highest but easiest 14er to summit. It's a popular class 1 hike that requires no permits and is often used as training for ascending bigger and tougher peaks like Mt. Whitney.

Description

The Hertog Hendrikpad is a circular route around Eindhoven and is 82 km long. The path is named after Duke Henry I of Brabant, who granted city rights to the city of Eindhoven in 1232. https://www.wandelenovernachten.nl/paden/Hertog-Hendrik-pad.php

It is astonishing that this circular walk can be made by the hiker mostly along unpaved paths and in the middle of nature while the 'big city' is never far away.

Marsfjällstraversen

Description

Traversing the full range of Marsfjällen is a great one-day adventure over technical terrain with stunning views but without real exposure. The route is an open course, tagging the ridgelines and summits of Risfjället, Gierehtseåelkie, the summits 1544 and 1590, Marsfjället, Gahkagaejsientjahke and Ortsen, with the potential extension of Aajnantjahke and Rovpentjahke which should make the distance closer to 30 km.
