Route Starts South of Cedar Breaks National Monument (Blowhard TH), dropping down into Ashdown Gorge via Potato Hollow Trail, then connecting to Rattlesnake Trail back to the North end of Cedar Breaks.  The route circumvents Cedar Breaks in a "C" shape.  Route can be done from N to S, S to N, and repeated as many times as you'd like.

From the crossing of Via Panoramica and via San Paolo, that faces the path descending to beach "spiaggia lunga", take all straight the main road to Porto Santo Stefano till Restaurant "La Caletta".

La caletta is the arrival of the swim race "da porto a porto" that starts from the beach "spiaggia lunga" - so that this route ideally is the same as the swim race "da porto a porto" but on the ground.

Wir starten unsere Tour in Arnsberg am Parkplatz an der Altmühlbrücke. Von hier führt der Weg in Richtung Süden entlang der Altmühl. Wir überqueren die Straße (Staatsstraße), sehen rechts bereits die erste Mühle des Schambachtals (Böllermühle), lassen diese jedoch liegen und folgen der Straße (Böllermühlstraße) etwa weitere 300 m. Dann biegen wir nach rechts ab ("Zur Forstermühle"), queren die Schambach über eine kleine Brücke und sehen direkt vor uns die Freitagmühle. Entlang des mit Obstbäumen gesäumten Weges und vorbei an einer kleinen Kapelle marschieren wir rechts bis zum Waldrand.

In Altmannstein am Parkplatz an der Bahnhofstrasse ist Start unserer Wanderung. Auf der alten Bahntrasse aus dem Ort hinaus, eine kleine Strecke im Schambachtal, dann rechts ab, zwischen Hopfengärten, Wiesen und Feldern, in Mischwäldern Richtung Hattenhausen.
