Description: Mt Major is located in Alton, New Hampshire. Mt Major is one of the most heavily traveled mountains in the America, if not the world.

It's very popular for a lot of reasons, but these are the main reasons are: 1. Location 2. Views 3. Vertical Gain.

I don't recommend going on a busy weekend in the summer or the fall because the crowds will likely slow you down.

Parking: There is a very nice medium sized parking lot right at the base of the trail, although it fills up quickly.

Out and back to 5 separate peaks!  It’s a mind f@*k of note to conquer…. Bring it!
