The route covers the full length of the River Tweed that for a number of miles acts as the border between Scotland and England - starting at its source as a spring in the hill above Moffat before reaching the North Sea at Berwick Upon Tweed. It is a mix of trail and road staying as close as possible to the river.

Sugarloaf Mountain is a Registered Natural Landmark and a standout in central Maryland due to its unique geology as a monadnock, a mountain created by erosion of the surrounding land. Not only that, it’s a rare gem where you can get this kind of elevation gain less than an hour’s drive from DC/Baltimore.
