ALL-INN means from ALLGÄU to INNSBRUCK. This point-to-point route runs from Buching, Germany, across the Allgäu and the Ammergauer Alps, and finishes at the famous "Goldenes Dachl" in Innsbruck, Austria. Along the way, the route passes through beautiful alpine towns such as Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Mittenwald, and Scharnitz, which also provide opportunities for (self-)support. Covering just over 100 kilometers with more than 4000 meters of ascent and about 4400 meters of descent, it traverses varied alpine terrain including forest trails, open ridgelines, and high mountain passes.

Sea to Summit of the Highest Volcano in Eurasia! Can it get more iconic?

The true summit is often inaccessible due to volcanic activity and can only be reached with a volcanological guide. Instead, this route takes you to the Pizzi Deneri Volcanological Observatory—one of the most spectacular viewpoints on the volcano and the highest point you can reach without a guide.

The journey begins in the town of Riposto, right at the junction with Via Monte Etna: a starting point with the perfect name!
