Hudson Way (UK)
Named after the Victorian railway magnate George Hudson, the Hudson Way follows the disused Beverley to Market Weighton railway line through the rolling chalk landscape of the Yorkshire Wolds.
The route captures the essence of East Yorkshire’s big skies and wide valleys, while sections of tree lined track provide welcome shelter from the wind on top of the Wolds.
It passes the ancient pilgrimage site of St Hilda's Well and several former railway stations, giving a strong sense of the route's history.

The Channels
A SWVA Classic. 3000 feet of climbing in about 11 miles roundtrip with a fire tower at the top (and some amazing rock formation).
Historically the TT route starts at the edge of the trailhead parking ~50 feet in from the main road, so that is what has been submitted here. Both ascent time and roundtrip times are classic test pieces for the SWVA ultra scene. The lower half of the route is a steep old logging road that transitions to double and single track for the top section.
