Northern Long Trail Bridge to Bridge (Johnson-Duxbury) (VT)

Submitted by Maia Buckingham on Sun, 08/03/2025 - 06:30am
Description

Bridge to Bridge runs between the Lamoille River footbridge in Johnson and the Winooski River footbridge in Duxbury, traversing some of the most beautiful and challenging sections on Vermont's Long Trail including Mt. Mansfield. The route was shared by Rob Rives, former Green Mountain Club coordinator, and conceived circa 2018 as a challenge amongst the GMC construction crew. Note that this is NOT a TH to TH challenge but you have to cross both bridges. At both ends the start/end points are close to parking but will have to hike there.
