Description

The Golden Wall-Castle Bridge Loop is a "hidden" gem compared to the trails at nearby Bryce Canyon National Park. This loop is located in Red Canyon, which is in between I-15 and the national park, making it a great way to begin or end a trip in the area. The route starts at the Golden Wall trailhead and goes east on the bike path towards Red Canyon campground. Find the Buckhorn Trail and complete the loop that connects the Golden Wall trail and the Castle Bridge Trail, and then finish at the car.

The Fairyland Loop in Bryce Canyon National Park is a magical trail that traces through some of the most scenic parts of the national park. It's a must do for any trail runner in the area, and has the potential to be done FAST due to its runnable trails and relative low traffic compared to the rest of the park. Please be respectful of other park visitors!

Herzogstand Heimgarten Traverse (Germany)

Description

This route is a real classic. Starting in Munich's "Hausberge" on the shores of the Walchensee, it climbs almost 1,000 meters in altitude over steep trails to the summit of the Herzogstand. To strike the summit cross is obligatory here but not mandatory. The following 2.5 kilometers are predetermined by the ridge. Demanding it goes over to the summit of the Heimgarten. From there again steeply down (with a short counter ascent) to Walchensee. In summary: Up, summit, ridge, summit, down! Pure skyrunning!
