The path dates from 1625 when the farmers and miners in Hörken walked to the church through the forest. The path was in use until 1925 when Hörken got its own church. The path between Grills and Lövskogen is well marked, easy to follow and quite un-technical apart from a lot of tree trunks that have fallen over the path in some places.
