Description

This route follows the Lehigh Valley Trail, a former railroad running through Victor, Mendon, and Rush, NY. The trail is flat and mainly crushed gravel, traversing the beautiful countryside of Rochester's suburbs. About halfway down the trail is Rochester Junction - a freight house replica containing restrooms and a drinking fountain and the trail splits, with an option to go north through Henrietta. In addition to runners, the trail is often used by bikers and home to wildlife like rabbits and deer. More information on the trail and its history can be found at the following links:

Description

This is a connection of the Lost Creek Overlook Trail and the Ray Branch Shoreline trail. It’s a stunning trail that dips down into several valleys right by the lake. When you go early you can see rainbows off of the mist on the water. It has two swinging suspension bridges and it truly a hidden gem!
