La vallée de la Sée, surnommée la « Vallée des 100 moulins », est un ruban de verdure qui serpente à travers le bocage normand depuis les hauteurs de Sourdeval jusqu'à la baie du Mont-Saint-Michel. Son histoire est intimement liée à la force hydraulique de ses eaux vives, qui a permis dès le Moyen Âge l’essor d'une industrie florissante de papeteries, de filatures et de forges, notamment à Brouains. Parcourir cette vallée à pied, c'est découvrir une Normandie secrète, loin des foules littorales, où le murmure de l'eau raconte des siècles d'activité artisanale.

The ViaBerna is an attractive long-distance hiking path in the Swiss Canton of Bern. With its 20 panoramic stages, the ViaBerna runs from Bellelay in the Bernese Jura through the Mittelland to the Susten Pass in the Bernese Oberland. This 300-kilometre hiking trail gently leads hikers across the Jura enchanting alpine grasslands, mysterious moorland, wild valleys, narrow canyons and astonishing flood plains, while the high-altitude trails offer unforgettable awe-inspiring views over the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau mountains.

Mount Timpanogos via the Aspen Grove way! This side is a little more gnarly, some parts of the trail destroyed when I did it.. This way is a bit steeper and not as a smooth ride as Timpanookee. But, you get blessed with running by Emerald Lake!  

This route follows the "skyline" features of the Skardsheidi and Hafnarfjall mountain ranges in south-west Iceland.
This skyline is very prominent when driving from Reykjavik up the West country (towards Akranes, Borgarnes and further north/west).
