16-mile Dahlgren Railroad Heritage Trail follows the route of the 1940s Dahlgren Branch Rail Line, and stretches across King George County just south of the Potomac River in Virginia's Northern Neck.  Flat and wooded, crossing a few country roads. Well maintained.  Skirts a graveyard near the Eastern trailhead.

This was a run of the entire completed Allegheny Trail 315.7 Miles from the Mason Dixon Line to the AT in Virginia. 

June 22 at 5 am we headed south to VA, we arrived Saturday night. Setting the FKT for the full distance Allegheny Trail (315.7 miles). What an Amazing trip.

Esta ruta entre la Catedral de Santiago de Bilbao y la cima del Ganekogorta (998m) propone un recorrido que une el corazón histórico de la villa con una de las montañas más emblemáticas de su entorno. En apenas unos kilómetros se pasa del entramado urbano del Casco Viejo a los bosques, pastizales y crestas que durante siglos han definido el paisaje de la comarca, convirtiendo este itinerario en un viaje por la historia, la geografía y la identidad de Bilbao.
