Description

Nanga Sago (5,776m) is significant as the highest peak of Leh, the capital of Ladakh and a spectacular point to view the Karakoram range to the north and Himalaya to the south. The route starts from the "I ❤️ Leh" sign situated at the northern end of the main market street. The gpx uploaded and route I ran on the ascent is generally the most direct path to the peak, particularly the first 5-6km on road ascending through Leh.

Description

Hailed as one of Tennessee's most difficult and rewarding hiking trails, the Fiery Gizzard trail starts near Tracy City. The trail goes South then heads South East until it reaches the Foster Falls trail head. Backpacker magazine once rated the Fiery Gizzard trail as one of the top 25 hiking trails in the United States. Along the trail you will get to experience about a dozen waterfalls, a few swimming holes, and several vistas. The hemlock trees are estimated to be over 200 years old. The terrain is rocky for most of the trail with several areas being very steep.
