Description

the way around the ancient coastline offers a diversity of scenery from wide expanses of marshland bordering the Thames and Medway estuaries to the white cliffs of Dover.there are views over Romney marsh from the escarpment that marks the ancient coastline between Folkestone and rye and from the cliffs at the high weald of Hastings. here the romans invaded Britain and later, built the Saxon shore forts to defend the island against a new wave of invaders. this route can be done in both directions with most of the climbing coming near the Hastings dover end.

Lake Lurleen Loop (AL)

Description

This route makes a loop around Lake Lurleen. Park in the South parking lot behind the entrance fee building and start the run at the small yellow pole. If heading clockwise, you will run the Lakeside trail which then turns into Tashka Trail. You will keep following and make sure to stay on the Tashka trail, while you run you will see red mileage markers. Once you get to the end of the Tashka trail you will make a left on the main park road. You will road the run back to the parking lot you started in.
