The North Fork Trail runs NW from a TH at South Platte for 9.2 miles and ends at the intersection with the Hummingbird Trail.  The FKT route is the 18.4 mile out & back.

Berryman Campground Trailhead: From Potosi, MO head 16 miles west on State Highway 8. Turn right on County Road 207 and go 1.5 miles. Trailhead parking will be on your left. Located in the Mark Twain National Forest, Potosi Ranger District.

Route description
The Berryman Trail is a 25.9 mile multi-use loop trail that begins at the Berryman Campground. The trailhead is located about 16 miles west of Potosi, MO or about 100 miles southwest of St. Louis, MO. Its proximity to St. Louis makes it a prime location for a day-trip adventure.

The Pfunderer Höhenweg is a high altitude trail and hiking path in the Alps (South Tyrol). Starting in Sterzing about 15 km south of the Brenner Pass, it leads through the remote Pfunderer Mountains, which are relatively little frequented by hikers, to St. Georgen or Pfalzen near Bruneck. The route of about 73.4 km in length and 5570 metres in altitude difference can be covered by hikers in four to six days and runs through alpine and high alpine terrain at an altitude between 2000 and 3000 metres.
