Description

Putrajaya is a city in Malaysia, south of Kuala Lumpur. It’s known for its late-20th-century architecture including the Putra Mosque, made from rose-colored granite with a pink dome. Nearby is the immense, green-domed Perdana Putra, which contains the prime minister’s office complex. The 3-tiered Putra Bridge is inspired by Iranian architecture, with 4 minaret-type piers overlooking the man-made Putrajaya Lake. ― Google.

Run Across Iowa (IA)

Submitted by TaylorDSM on Fri, 11/06/2020 - 09:06pm
Description

Old Highway 92 from border to border in Iowa is a smooth, relatively safe, low trafficked route, nearly straight through our beautiful state. This path runs straight down 92 minus a couple short, scenic detours. It starts crossing one river and finishes crossing another, running just south of the center of the Iowa and passes directly through some gorgeous small towns. Included in these is Winterset, where the route passes near the famous Bridges of Madison County. Every inch of countryside and farmland is gorgeous (I can say from experience it never gets old).

Fortune's Cove Preserve (VA)

Submitted by Craig Randall on Fri, 11/06/2020 - 02:32pm
Description

There is an upper loop and lower loop option in the Fortune's Cove Preserve. This route is for the "upper" also called "yellow loop" – the start and finish is the one-way trail sign just off the white gravel road near the parking lot. This route submission omits the "overlook" spur to the true summit (<.10 miles to the unattractive cell towers).
