This starts at the bottom of Little Bigelow at Flagstaff Lake on the AT and ends at Rt 4 in Rageley at the AT parking lot. You will hit every Peak along the way.

First, you go up Little Bigelow and you make your way to Averey Peak, West Peak, the South Horn, and take the side trail to the North Horn. From there you stay on the AT and descent down to Rt 27 AT parking lot.

If you start at the Artist's Palette parking area the first 5 miles is a beautiful descent into Badwater Basin which is more that 250ft below sea level and is known as the hottest place on the planet.  This year (2020) it reached 130 degrees fahrenheit!  Then you'll run approximately 3 miles along the iconic Badwater road, made famous by the Badwater 135 ultra.  Then the full ascent elevation is covered by the remainder of the route back to Artist's Palette.
