Description

This route travels from the lower Blue Mountains to the top of the Blue Mountains, starting and finishing at the first and last train stations in the Blue Mountains council area: Glenbrook at 163m above sea level to Mount Victoria 1043m above sea level. The route we chose was mostly trails and fire trails and went via some of the key villages ratherr than across the valley: Glenbrook station to Woodford station via the Oaks firetrail; Woodford to Wentworth Falls via Ingar firetrail (and single trail around private property so not to trespass!).

Description

Run over Baylor Pass between Baylor Canyon Road and Aguirre Springs. This is the most widely used trail in Las Cruces for traversing the Organ Mountain range to the other side. It starts at the sign at the parking lot off of Baylor Canyon Road and climbs to the top of the pass. You then descend the other side to Aguirre Springs campground. For the out & back turn around at the paved road.

Ice Age Trail, Devil's Lake Segment (WI)

Submitted by Colin Baker on Sun, 08/16/2020 - 01:51pm
Description

Devil's Lake segment of the Ice Age Trail, from the Ronzo's Meadow parking lot to Parfrey's Glen.  The route follows several trails through the very popular Devil's Lake State Park and features three significant ascents and one probably-not-runnable descent down the East Bluff.  Great scenery throughout.

This follows the current route marked by the yellow blazes and on the Ice Age Trail GIS site here:
