The Ganaraska Trail is a 387km end to end trail which includes 6 different sections. The trail starts in Port Hope and ends in Glen Huron. The sections of the end to end are Pine Ridge, Kawartha, Wilderness, Orillia, Barrie and Mad River. There are also 4 other sections which are side trails. These are Oro-Medonte, Midland, Tiny and Wasaga. These are not part of the end to end. There is also an out and back part of the Wilderness section that isn't part of the end to end. Padre Island National Seashore (PINS) Trail (TX)
Padre Island National Seashore (PINS), encompassing 130,434 acres, is the longest remaining undeveloped stretch of barrier island in the world, and offers a wide variety of flora, fauna, and recreation. The park itself is about 70 miles long, but the actual coastline of the park is 65.5 miles of mostly runnable sand.
According to UltraRunningHistory.com, PINS is also the home of what may have been the first ultramarathon in the world, held in 1953.
