Hurricane Mountain (NY)
Hurricane Mountain, one of the more popular and stunning peaks in all the Adirondack Park, gets plenty of attention, despite not being a "forty-six" High Peak. Views atop Hurricane are expansive in all directions, looking south and west at the High Peaks Wilderness and east towards Lake Champlain and the Green Mountains of Vermont. A fire-tower sits atop the summit where one can climb and get an even better and more exposed view. There are three trails to the summit of Hurricane.
