The tour of the District of Conches begins in Obergesteln and descends the valley left side of the Rhone until Lax and goes up the valley right side until the pass of the Grimsel and then returns to Obergesteln. The tour is 102km (63.3miles) for 6200m D+ (20341ft). It takes place mainly on single track.

From XuPu Bridge at the southwest most point of the Bund Riverfront Trail. Follow the path close to the Huangpu River, heading slightly inland to cross creeks and streams via footbridges and onto Longteng Avenue for a short stretch. Cross the Dianpu River and under the LuPu and NanPu bridges en route to Shanghai's iconic Bund. Finish at the far side of Suzhou Creek after crossing the WaiBaidu "Garden" bridge. About 18km.
