The route is described by "Den Norske Turistforening" (DNT) and goes through the Mountain Massives of Breheimen, Jotunheimen, Skarvheimen and Hardangervidda. It passes 18 mountain huts along the way. The start goes from Sota Sæter and ends at Haukelisæter.

Marcy and her husband John travel the US, living in a camper trailer, and knocking out FKT's everywhere they go.

"We've been doing this for 10 years. It's a great way to see the country!"

She's also a Hardrock finisher, and done a lap or two of Barkley. But her favorite race?

"Big's Backyard Ultra. I'm not real fast, so the 'Last Person Standing' style suits me."

Update: As of April 2022 this route is no longer available as official long distance route in Hoge Kempen. The National Park has expanded and a new 108 km route is now the official long route https://fastestknowntime.com/route/law-nationaal-park-hoge-kempen-new-version-2022 as also available as FKT route.

It is still possible to do the 74 k route but you need at have the gpx on a devise to follow the right trails (signposting is gone).
