The Paugussett Trail is a Blue-Blazed hiking trail "system" in the lower Housatonic River valley in Fairfield County and, today, is entirely in Shelton and Monroe, Connecticut. Much of the trail is in Indian Well State Park and the Town of Monroe's Webb Mountain Park. The mainline (official "Blue-Blazed") trail is primarily southeast to northwest with three short side or spur trails.
Northern Terminus: East Village Road (41.3570510, -73.1896970)
Southern Terminus: Buddington Road (41.2890360, -73.1206940)

The Nehantic Trail is a 13 mile singletrack route in eastern CT from Green Fall Pond in Voluntown to Hopeville Pond State Park in Griswold. It is mostly flat and runnable, with a few small hills and some short technical sections. Road sections are minor and the trail markings are excellent for such a remote trail. Details and maps can be found in the Connecticut Walk Book East.

Vermont's wildest and most beautiful summit (4083') must be something of a local test piece, as I know Enman, Pilla, and Lapierre regularly grace its flanks, but other than on Strava, I've never been able to compare times. In interest of that, and hopefully in luring a few ADK / NH runners to throw down in the Greens, it seems worth starting a thread.
