Description

The 5 Passes is a classic hiking route in Mt. Aspiring National Park. It is a satisfying loop in a remote backcountry environment and normally takes hikers around 4-6 days. The route is made up by the 5 passes that you will need to cross, Fohn Saddle, Fiery Col, Cow Saddle, Park pass and Sugar Loaf Pass. A big part of the route involves challenging off track travel and navigation. The terrain is very varied with the route going through dense forest with some honest bushbashing, alpine traverseing and river crossings.

Plymouth’s Co-operative Way

Description

As part of its 140th anniversary celebrations in 2000, the Plymouth and West Devon Co-operative Society, working with Plymouth City Council, created the Co-operative Way. The Co-operative Way is a gift to the City of Plymouth and is a fully way marked route which will take you into areas of the city you never knew existed.
This 13 miles circular route, that starts and finishes at Home Park, takes you around most of the city, through areas full of unexpected wildlife and past history you can touch.

Luukki Seven Lakes Loop

The Seven Lakes Loop is a trail located within the Luukki Nature Reserve. Accessible from various parking areas along the route, such as Luukki Manor, the entire trail is marked with yellow trail markers. The path is mostly easy to navigate, with a few steep inclines. Hikers can enjoy diverse landscapes, including small lakes, rocky terrain, groves, and marshes. Luukki, a nature reserve, offers visitors the opportunity to explore the pristine old-growth forests.

Golden Spoke Trail

Description

The Golden Spoke trail is a series of interconnected paved walking, running and biking trails from Provo, UT to Ogden, UT. The trail is over 103 miles and has approximately 1,300' of elevation gain. It is the 2nd longest continuous paved trail in the US and is the longest west of the Mississippi. The trail starts at Vivian Park in Provo Canyon, passing by Bridal Veil Falls before opening up into the metropolitan Utah Valley area.

Camino de Santiago - Camino Inglés (Spain)

Description

The Camino de Santiago consists of a set of pilgrimage routes that have existed for over 1,000 years. The routes have various starting points, but all end at the Cathedral of Santiago de Campostela in northwestern Spain. The Camino Inglés follows the route traditionally walked by pilgrims arriving on ships from England, with starting points Ferrol (113.45 km) and A Coruña (~73 km).

Cerro Marmolejo (6108m) from Plantat Refugee and back

Description

The route starts around 3100m in Plantat Refugee, from there, there is a mix of trail, rocks, penitentes and a glacier that converge at 5500m. Until this point, this is the same route for San José Volcano (5856m). At 5500m it is where the path divides: To head towards Marmolejo it is necessary to descend 500m, crossing a glacier, frozen lagoons, always appreciating clearly Marmolejo, at first a massive mount that is necessary to climb again.
