The 22-mile out-and-back traverse of Moscow Mountain begins at the Headwaters Trailhead just north of Moscow, Idaho, and follows Foothill Road before climbing steadily up Moscow Mountain Road to the summit of East Moscow Mountain. With roughly 2,900 feet of elevation gain, this dirt and gravel road traverses the entire ridgeline of the mountain and is a favorite among local hikers, trail runners, and mountain bikers. Moscow Mountain rises above the rolling Palouse farmland and enters a forested mountain landscape with panoramic views.

The Dane Valley Way is a 77km route mainly following the path of the River Dane, starting at the Pavillion Gardens (Buxton Opera House) in Buxton Derbyshire and ending where the Dane flows into the River Weaver at Northwich in Cheshire.

The route was first proposed in 1970 and originally ended in Middlewich. It was extended to go to Northwich in 2013. The first half is more off road, with the second half including more road sections.

The route is waymarked (Yellow discs with letters DVW) and shown on OS maps.

The most logical and sticking to the route of Sentiero 571 (including a stop at the Azzoni mountain hut), essentially completing a full circuit of the Imagna Valley (Periplo della Valle Imagna).
