This route includes three NH 4,000 footers: Galehead, South Twin, and North Twin, as a point-to-point. The route begins on the Gale River Loop Road by Gale River TH and ends on Haystack Road by North Twin TH, but can be done in either direction. Note that access to Gale River Loop and Haystack roads may be impacted by seasonal closures. Beginning via the Gale River Trail, summit Galehead via the Garfield Ridge Trail and Frost Trail (out and back) before ascending South Twin via the Twinway and continuing to North Twin on North Twin Spur.
