The Walled City of Manila circumnavigation — Intramuros is a 2.02 mile run circumnavigating the historic capital walls. The looped course begins and ends with a hand on the historic Fort Santiago gate and continues clockwise down General Luna St, Soriano Ave, Muralla St. and Lucia St, alongside the inner perimeter of the old walled city.

This is a classic route that starts from the northern edge of Taipei City in Tian Mou and connects mostly trail and rock steps to eventually summit the highest mountain within the city limits.  The vegetation change is quite stark and the summit offers 360 degrees of Taipei City to the northern seaside towns.
