Description

The Superstition Ridgeline provides one of the most beautiful views of Phoenix and it’s surrounding cities. From the Siphon Draw TH in Lost Dutchman State Park the climb up Siphon Draw is steep and the terrain on the top is rugged all the way to the Carney Springs TH on East Peralta Road. If doing the out & back you will be treated with an equally brutal climb back up to the Ridgeline and back across to descend Siphon.

I'm planning on trying the out-and-back tomorrow, supported.  I've seen Siphon Draw before and I'm looking forward to exploring the rest of the route (hopefully twice in one day).

Beautiful day in the Superstitions!  I made it over to the saddle before Superstition Peak, found a slot with a boulder problem.  I can see how to get up, but decided not to do it solo (I'm not a confident scrambler).  Turned around, took a couple more wrong turns (easy to do up there), enjoyed the trek back to Lost Dutchman.  Fun and amazing route, in any case!

Heading back to the Supes on Sunday and bringing reinforcements - my husband and I are wanting to try the one-way, co-ed version, if everything works out as planned
